Media Reviews

The Mini Panniers are completely silent, waterproof, and more secure than anything else I’ve tried. Complete with variable straps, it’s hard to convey how well-engineered and thought through they are. For smaller riders especially, these Mini Panniers make all the difference in carrying capacity, without adding unduly to the overall weight of your rig. And, they’ll work with your existing, non-Tailfin racks too.

FAQs

Yes, each mini pannier comes with a set of 'spacers', which allow you to fit to any front or rear rack.

Each pannier is shipped individually, NOT as a pair.

Yes, they use the same type of connection as our SL22 and UD22 panniers and are retrofitted to ensure compatibility with the original Tailfin T1 Rack.

All Tailfin products come with a 5-year guarantee. For more information on this see our Tailfin Care guarantee.

Our Mini Panniers follow the same modular design as the rest of our products which means that all parts are replaceable and can be repaired at home if anything happens. Despite being made from durable materials we know accidents do happen. We offer a crash replacement policy to provide you with a replacement bag for a discounted price or in some instances if the damage isn't too severe we can repair most items. For more information on this see our Tailfin Care guarantee.

Yes, all mini panniers come with 2 sets of T-Hook compression straps. These straps are removable from the pannier quickly and easily, allowing you the flexibility of using or not using them, dependent on your carrying needs.

Yes, all our bags are high-frequency, ultrasonically welded, so are 100% waterproof - not a drop can enter the bag when closed, even in a torrential downpour.

They are secured to the rack via our X Clamp technology - a precision-engineered, CNC machined aluminium stop-action clamp which tightly secures the bag to the rack in 2 places, eliminating all rattle and movement when riding even off-road.

The bags remove and attach easily in a matter of seconds.

AP20 and Pannier bag on Alloy rack

Really impressed with the quality and engineering of the Tailfin bags and rack.
Super easy to setup and use.
Have only used my AP20 and 10L pannier bag for commuting on my old CX bike. So much better than a backpack or other rack systems.
AP20 is a tight fit under my seat on my Cannondale CX commuter but it's almost perfect on my 54cm 3T Exploro Racemax.
Hope to get out for some real bikepacking with it this season.

Less is more

Very happy with the tailfin products I’m using to date, light touring, commuting and a bit of Audax is the main type of miles I’m covering.
Had to carry out a slight mod to be able to fit a SON rear light.

Best Bilepacking Gear

I have my Carbonrack this year the first time on a 10-day tour of sweden testen können and am super satisfied. Lightweight, practical and it also just looks super cool. Have the carbon rack with the bag on top and 2 10 liter panniers, totally cool to stow in the evening a few food and beer 😜 in short, the best bags and overall the best system I ever had!
