The cage can take a load of 3kg on any terrain (1.5kg per bolt).
Plastic cycling water bottles / Bidons: 500ml and 750ml – one strap will be required to secure the bottle. 1000ml – two straps are required. Rigid bottles (e.g. Nalgene/Kleen Kanteen) bottles: 900ml/32oz – one strap required, up to 1200ml/40oz – one strap is required on road, two straps for off-road, up to 1900ml/64oz – two straps on any terrain
The Mini Cage uses standard 64mm bolt spacing (the same as bottle cages fit) to fit anywhere you have these bosses on your bike. This will mean a Mini Cage can be fitted inside a frame, on the downtube, on the fork (bosses dependent) and on the underside of the CargoPack and Fixed SpeedPack. If you don’t have mounting bosses, you can pair the Mini Cage with the HydroMount.
Yes, the Mini Cage includes 2 x 36cm Cargo Straps.
No! The Mini Cage works well on any bike with the standard 64mm bolt spacing.
The Mini Cage is ideal for carrying spares such as an inner tube and pump, a small dry bag (e.g. 1.7L Cage Pack), water/tool bottle, or a rolled jacket (obviously not all at once!)
The Mini Cage is supplied with two Torx head screws and washers to fit it to your bike, as well as 2 x 36cm straps.
Yes, all Cargo Cages fit the Alloy Arch even if it has pannier mounts. You cannot use the Panniers when the Mini Cage is fitted, though.
Yes. The HydroMount was designed to work well with the Mini Cage, without needing bolts to mount the cage in specific places on your bike. You can carry up to 1kg on the Mini Cage when using 2 straps on the HydroMount and 1.5kg when using 3 straps.
