The AP Rack Top Bag is designed to fit seamlessly to our Racks with minimal fuss.
100% Waterproof
The AP Rack Top Bag is constructed of a high-frequency welded, fully-waterproof, high-performance laminate skin.
Remove in 5 seconds
We developed the AP Rack Top Bag so that the rack could remain attached to bike and the pack could be easily removed.
Solid connections
The AP Rack Top Bag attaches to any Tailfin Rack using CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium alloy fittings, which together with stainless steel pins create an incredibly strong and rattle-free connection.
Easy to access, even on your bike
The unique roll-top opening of the AP Rack Top Bag makes it super easy to pack and find your belongings whether it’s on or off the bike.
Light it up
Use the twin rear light mounts to be seen and stay safe, while reflective strips provide additional visibility.
Stash pocket
Keep your most-needed items on hand in a zipped outer pocket.
Carry more on top
The twin stacking straps offer the ability to quickly, and easily stack items on top of the pack.
Direct Access Pocket
One of the challenges with any roll top bag is the speed with which you can enter the main body of the bag. The Direct Access Pocket allows you to get in to the main body of the bag without opening the roll top.
Speed off the bike matters
In a long journey, it’s often the time you’re stopped that makes the difference.
Fit your rear light effortlessly
Our additional Light Mount options enable you to fit any rear light to the back of the AP Rack Top Bag for maximum visibility.

5/5. Adding to the excellent Tailfin Alloy Rack, the 20L AP20 Trunk Top Bag provides secure, waterproof and quickly-removable luggage to your system. Overall the Trunk Bag is a class act that perfectly fits into the Tailfin ecosystem of products.
After taking a tiny bit off the end of the through axle so would fit the trek domaine+ Electric bike, it works like a charm design fit, and finish are the best I’ve seen and any bicycle accessory

What a incredible great invention - I love the rack
I got the Alloy Rack with ultra durable Pannier 22 Liters for commuting (and bike packing) and the AP top bag. The gear is in use on 40 km a day through München/Germany.
The Rack was/ is extremely easy to mount/ dismount on my Salsa Cutthroat and my FOCUS Hardtail. This is the most solid construction I ever had for the past 25 years of commuting more than 75.000 km. I love the unparlleled versatility of the rack – just ONE RACK for ALL the BIKES including the roadbike.
The 22 L Panniers don´t waggle at all. Also during riding out of the saddle all stays stable and you even don´t feel the baggage. For now the Panniers kept 100 % dry in about 15 hours of severe rain. It opens/ closes easy, fast and safe.
I also used the AP rack top bag. It´s a nice bag with enough space for commuting.
What I don´t appreciate is the way to pack and roll the bag and then close/ open 4 (four !) fasteners. All together it is way to long-winded and makes the nice bag useless for my daily routine. The zipper on the side doesn´t improve the operation – you won´t grab the right item out of the bag.
I got some technical questions – all of them have been solved in a elaborate way by Tailfins service-staff via email.
Big complement. But not only for the service but especialy for the RACK. I´ll get definitely more of the great racks for your bikes.
