I’m looking for the AP18 Top Bag, has the name changed?

Yes, we changed the name of the AP18 Top Bag to the CargoPack Top Bag.

Will the Packing Cubes work with these CargoPack Top Bags?

Yes, they are designed to work with these bags.

Can I reuse the hardware from my existing bag and fit the new bag?

No, from January 2026, the CargoPack Top Bag uses new hardware. It is not possible to use old bag hardware on this new bag (or vice versa). See the latest assembly guide here.

You should use the new hardware received with this bag when fitting to a Tailfin Pannier Rack

Can I clip a light onto the bag?

Yes, the bag has clip light mounting points and the usual bolts under the bag where the Adjustable light mount can be attached.

The main compartment is 100% waterproof.

What’s the top loading weight limit?

9kg on the road, 4.5kg off-road

What’s the maximum capacity?

18L internally with additional 1.5L mesh pockets on each side.

How does CargoPack Top Bag fasten?

It fastens by clipping to itself at the top as well as down the sides using included T-Hooks

Can I fit this to a third-party rack?

No, the hardware used on this bag is designed to fit the Tailfin Pannier Rack only.
