We designed our panniers to fit as wide a range of racks as possible. Included with your pannier are Third-Party Rack Inserts to help achieve the best fit possible. The lower hook on the 16/22L Panniers are not adjustable, so this is something to consider.

Both the 16/22L Panniers have a max weight limit of 9kg for road riding only. For off-road riding, we recommend carrying 50% less weight per bag (4.5kg).

They are secured to the rack via our X Clamp technology – a precision-engineered, CNC machined aluminium stop-action clamp which tightly secures the bag to the rack in 2 places, eliminating all rattle and movement when riding even off-road. They have a secure lower hook which keeps the bag sat close to the arch, even on tough terrain.

The bags remove and attach easily in a matter of seconds.

These Panniers have the option to add a shoulder strap when choosing your pannier.

Yes, all Panniers come with 2 sets of T-Hook compression straps. These straps are quickly and easily removable from the panniers, allowing you to use them or not, depending on your carrying needs.

Yes, both the 16/ 22L panniers are designed with commuters in mind! As an optional extra, you can purchase additional Laptop Holders to make carrying your laptop even more secure. The 16L Panniers are rated to fit laptops up to 14”. If your laptop is bigger than this, we recommend you choose the 22L Pannier instead.

The packing cubes are designed to fit with the Cargo and Rack Top Bags, (the 6L packing cube tapers one end), but they do fit in these larger panniers well, too.

Yes, both the 16/22L Panniers contain an air valve.

The V2 22L Panniers no longer come as SL or UD. They are a similar design to the 16L Pannier and now use the same lower hook design. They have an updated CNC-machined aluminium internal frame, making them more suited for off-road trails than ever before.

All Tailfin products come with a 2-year guarantee. Our Mini Panniers follow the same modular design as the rest of our products, meaning all parts are replaceable and can be repaired at home if anything happens. We have these available on our Spares Page. Despite being made from durable materials, we know accidents do happen. We offer a crash replacement policy that provides you with a replacement bag at a discounted price, or, in some instances, if the damage isn’t too severe, we can repair most items.
