Can I buy just the Bar Cage Bag on its own?

Yes! Each size Bar Cage Bag can be purchased on its own and includes 2 x Tailfin Cargo Straps.

Are the straps included?

They are included when ordering any Cage Bag.

Will the Cage Bag rub on the cage?

When attached securely using the Speed Hooks and with straps tight, the Cage Bags should have little to no movement. To extend the life of the product, all 3 Cage Bags have an anti-abrasion TPU patch welded to the rear of the bag where it touches the cage. If you are using a third-party dry bag we cannot guarantee you won’t experience some wear/rub over time.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The Bar Cage Bag is 100% waterproof when the bag is rolled x 2 times at each end to seal it from the elements.

I have drop handlebars, which bag is the best size for me?

The 8L Bag is the recommended size for drop handlebar bikes and means that interference with your shifters is minimised. Note, that the minimum compatible handlebar width is 38cm.

I have my own dry bag – do I need to purchase the Bar Cage Bag?

It is absolutely fine to to use your own dry bag with our Bar Cage. You can also attach other items such as water bottles, camping equipment everyday essentials. We offer the option of the Bar Cage Bag for more stability as it has been designed for the cage, but also for those who don’t have a dry-bag already to use.
