Carbon fibre offers exceptional strength to weight, meaning a lighter arch that is still capable of carrying the same load as our Alloy arches. If weight saving is a priority for you, then carbon fibre is the way to go.

Alloy

-Maximum load: 27kg
-Material: 6061-T6 Alloy

If you’re heading off-road, away from civilisation, then we’d recommend our Alloy options. Why? In worst case scenarios (dropping or crashing your bike) an Alloy Arch can withstand abuse a little better and can possibly be repaired or ridden when damaged – it will tend to bend. The Alloy options has additional triple bosses to attach accessories such as a Cage.

Which Top Stay is right for me?

Short Top Stay – Use the below as a general guide:

with regular (or larger) bike frame sizes (>54cm)
100mm or more visible seat post
no dropper post fitted to your bike
riders who want maximum aero benefits

Long top Stay – For riders who feel they will need a little extra space behind the saddle when using the AP20 Trunk tp Bag:

for smaller bike frame sizes (<54cm)
less than 100mm visible seat post
if you have a dropped post fitted to your bike
saddle positioned far back on its rails
if you plan to carry items on top of the bag (e.g sleep mat strapped to the bag)

Mounting Options

if opting for Frame Mount Adaptors, please check with your bike’s manufacturer that your frame is suitable for attaching a rack, as some frame mounts are used only for mudguards.

Whats the difference between our axles?

We supply 1 of these 3 axles with all of our rear racks. The axle you need will depend on your bike.

Single Thru Axle

Modern bikes use thru axles, select the single thru axle if you know your pitch thread.

Universal Thru Axle

Ships with multiple thru axles to fit all bikes

Quick Release Axle

Usually found on older bikes and are usually hollow with a lever on one side.
