Half vs Wedge Frame Bags: Which to Choose

A guide to help you decide between our two types of Frame Bags

Our long-anticipated bike Frame Bags have been in development for 3 years, with many different shapes and sizes trialled. With feedback from top cyclists, we settled on two designs: the Half Wedge Frame Bag and the Wedge Frame Bags. But, what’s the difference between the two frame bags, and which should you choose?

Do you prioritise storage space or space for your bottles?

During our research, we asked riders how many water bottles they typically carried and the sizes used. As expected, there was no one clear answer across bikepacking, gravel riding, mountain biking and commuting.

That’s why we wanted to offer riders multiple bike frame bag options, based on whether they wanted to maximise storage capacity or water-carrying ability.

Why choose the Half Frame Bag?

That’s why we offer multiple sizes, from 2.3L up to 6.5L, to suit even the largest of cycle frames.

Why choose the Wedge Frame Bag?

Choosing a frame bag size

Both the Half and Wedge share the same overall design. This includes internal storage dividers and a strap for circular items such as a pump. All bags have a hydration hose/cable port situated at the front of the bag but the amount of storage available will reflect the size of the bag chosen.
