1.75mm Locking Nut

Overall a great design with excellent fit to the bike. Its secure, and never feesl like its going to fall off. I was a bit worried at first as it seemed to take a lot of dust dirt etc. But you can just clean it when you clean the bike and it comes up golden again. With the stiffening ribs it can be a pain to get in if you have bigger hands. There is always the option of removing them for easier access.

I have found that the construction is very sturdy though, and the more i shove on it the more it holds up. That isn't to say you should be particularly rough with it, but I've had my hand in searching for food and punched the bottom when hitting a couple potholes and had no worries about it being sturdy and durable.

I love the overall constriction and ease of use. The only two areas of improvement would be the rubber piece on the front hook of the top bag is already coming off after a few uses and I wish there was a seat post extender similar the aeropack because I need to extend it back and 1.5 inches to be able to fully use the volume of the bag.

Purchase handlebar bag, rear rack & bag, tub top bag and frame bag. The combination is excellent for day trips and bike packing adventures. The quality is top notch in every way.

Purchased the aluminium tailfin rack with the optional mounts for other manufacturers panier bags. The rack was beautifully but sustainably packaged. After unboxing, the components were very well made, and installed super easily on my bike! The mounting bracket for the skewer option is particularly well designed! In the first ride without any load the rack was quiet and didn't sway at all, it felt like it wasn't there! Looking forward to some bike packing rides soon.

Love that the rack is so fast to put on and off, allowing me to easily turn my Mon-Fri beast of burden into my weekend rocket ship. Fork cages and bags are of excellent quality and stable / aren’t going to move around. I needed to swap out a couple of parts and Tailfin made that super easy for me. If you can afford Tailfin products, just get them.

Really well thought out and quality product. The double sided compartments ideal for splitting up small bits and big bits keeping everything organised. The dimensions they give on the site are spot on and allowed me to get the exact size I needed. Really easy to install and super clean looking with just a few straps. The light colours inside makes stuff easy to find too. So impressed by the frame bag I have the bar bag on the way too

Range of Motion could be a Little bit bigger.

Again Tailfin delivers exceptional customer service and stands behind their products. After wearing small holes in these packs while doing the Tour Divide ride, I sent photos to Tailfin and on the same day they sent two replacement packs at no cost and with no questions asked.

I have used the tailfin set-up on three multi-day road bike packing trips. I have the top bag and carbon rear rack plus two 10 liter side bags. The volume is perfect for an extended trip along with a suitable handlebar system. 100% waterproof and secure from experience. Very well thought out system.

Used mainly for commuting so far. Previously used a backpack and was a little concerned a rack and pannier would be a bit clunky and noisy but no worries on that front since I got rock solid and no rattles at all. Great design. Great products, totally happy with them.

Not a small frame but with the extender fitted the AeroPack is pushed back clear of the seat. This allows for a higher pack size and makes excess easier… I think this size connector should actually be the norm. Now I have two but will only ever use the longer one.

The thing is great. Its roomy enough to fit my phone, keys, and spare headphones. Its small enough it doesnt get in the way riding. Its waterproof too as nothing appears to get wet in the bag.

This is the second top tube I have purchased, one for a gravel/road bike and another for a full suspension mountain bike.Perfect for what I need and secure and fully recommend them.

This review is not really about the aeropack and bar bag that I purchased (which are fantastic) but the service. The shipping box was damaged in delivery and two parts fell out. I contacted support and informed them of the issue, and they priority shipped the parts from the UK to New Zealand which arrived in 2 days ensuring that I was able to use the bags for an event only 4 days later. Thanks Adam and Dan for the amazing support.

Great rack for all carbon fiber bike!! This light weight bag and rack, look great and not intrusive. Easy to use and pack. I can take it right off my rack. The rack is easy to remove, so if you prefer go even lighter, it may be even easier than removing just the bag! Things shift no matter how tight you pack the bag. So using the nice side zipper, doesn’t makie finding things easy, so I recomend the packing bags, so you can put everything in them that you don’t need to access while riding. Then put the rest outside of them so you can find what you need and the items don’t get lost.

The Tailfin bags are a must for me. I have the one with the flap and I really like how easy it is to access my phone, snacks, or tools while riding. And it’s waterproof to boot!

I think it's the best item. It is also highly usable.

It fits perfectly on a 54-size frame and does not interfere with pedaling. The zipper can be opened and closed with one hand without any stress. The capacity of the main compartment is adequate, but the sub compartment can only hold a pen, so it may not be necessary.

Absolutely phenomenal top tube bag. Whether I’m using it for a phone and wallet, or gels and a battery pack- the bag is the perfect size for the job. Bolts securely to my top tube and the flip top makes one handed access a breeze. Cannot recommend enough!
