Ultra Durable Pannier Bag

The whole Tailfin system in itself is easy to set up and handle. With the universal axle system, swapping between bikes (12x1mm and 12x1.5 mm axles) is done in a few minutes.
The bags specifically feel very sturdy and with 22 l are surprisingly versatile (compared to my previous 40 l bags). The reduced volume means I have to be a bit more concious on what to pack on a multi day ride and where, but that makes for an enhanced experience, IMO.
(I also use the 16 l Aero Pack, so I have a bit more leeway, if I have to use it.)

A friend and I did 2000km on the GDMBR - my rack held up no problem, my friend’s snapped… however we rode pretty hard! His replacement rack was shipped express for free and appears to have been engineered to rectify the potential issue - the quality of the new product, and the aftermarket support provided was exceptional.

I had been looking for suitable rack for my carbon fiber gravel bike for some time. Additional requirement was being able to transport my 17” laptop when commuting. Tailfin met both of my requirements with an elegant and robust solution.
