My bike has rear suspension, can I still fit a Rack/AeroPack?
Yes, both the Rack and AeroPack use small plastic bushings at the connection points to pivot and work with your bike’s suspension. For full-sus MTBs we recommend the AeroPack over the Rack – it uses fewer components and has fewer dirt traps.

I have rack mounting points on my frame, can I use them?
Yes! Every Rack and AeroPack ships with spacers and screws so you can affix it directly to your frame (rather than to one of our axles).

We strongly recommend speaking with your frame’s manufacturer before fitting as there may be a weight limit on your bike’s rack mounts (some are only intended for mudguards/fenders).
How much does it cost to ship my order?
We ship free worldwide on orders over £150.00
Shipping costs for orders below this amount will be shown at the checkout, and depends on the region and size of the parcel.
Can the racks be secured to stop theft?
All Racks and AeroPacks with our ‘Fast-Release Dropouts’ come with anti-theft screws and a special security wrench, to lock the Rack to axle.
Can I use the rack on several of my bikes?
Yes you can, so long as the axle on your other bikes is the same, you can simply swap between using the QR attachment. If it isn’t you’ll need a new axle to make it compatible. It’s a good idea to buy a new axle for each bike anyway, just for ease of changing between them. All of our axles can be found in our Axles category.

Once your order has been placed we take the utmost care to ensure it gets to you as quickly and safely as possible. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, all in-stock orders will ship out the same day provided they are received by their respective warehouse before midday.
EU orders ship from our EU warehouse facility in the Netherlands.
US Orders now ship from our US Warehouse.
All other orders ship from our UK warehouse facility.

We are happy to refund unwanted items. If you’ve realised it’s not what you need, it has arrived damaged in some way, or you’ve simply just changed your mind, let us know and we’ll help you with your return. As long as the item is unused, in the original packaging, with the return request actioned within 30 days of receipt, we’ll be right on hand to help you out.
We are unable to offer exchanges. If you would like to order a different product(s) then please place a new order and follow our returns instructions for a refund on your unwanted item(s).

Sadly, no warranty within the cycling industry will completely protect you from damage caused by due to crashes, accidents or other mishaps. But if you are unfortunate enough to suffer a crash, then we want to help you get back on the bike. If your Tailfin products are damaged as the result of a crash, then we will arrange a 30% discount for you on a like-for-like replacement.

Tailfin believes in making high-quality products that you can absolutely trust. For that reason, we guarantee all our products against manufacturing defects for 5 years from the date of purchase. If your product fails due to a manufacturing defect – we will repair the product where possible and replace it when it is not.
